You won't get a service manual...& especially not a Miele service manual.
If your supply is good take off the lid, then follow the mains cable to the suppressor & check there is voltage either side.
Anything beyond that will probably mean a service call to Miele.

Solution:
Called Miele Service Centre (01235 554466 or 0845 365 6600).
After a quick chat, the guy checked with his techy team who suggested looking at the door catch ("give a couple of good slams")...
Guess what - It was the door catch...
