Milage on car clocked

Bought a car from a garage and on checking milage by previous MOT's it seems the car milage has been clocked. The garage says they have always serviced and MOT'd the car and entered milage wrongly twice on 2 previous MOT's.

The Car was MOT'd again 12 months later, just before I bought it and reduced by 30000 miles. Who can I contact to confirm this is correct and make a complaint?

How long have you had the car?

If you download an app called vehicle smart it give you a bit of info and mileage data (from the old mots) for any vehicle

Doubt they have made two errors on the same car?

you can use https://www.gov.uk/topic/mot/get-check-motdirectly - but as you mention previous mot's methinks you already know this.

So the question still remains - who to tell about this.

Perhaps trading standards?
The police will just send you to TS.
