I have extended a kitchen (ground floor only), but when enquiring about a wood burning or gas stove, was advised building control stipulate 2.3m away from a building. The inside of the newly built far wall is 2.3 from the original outside of the rear of the building, which is a further 2 stories higher.
Does all this mean I cannot install a one, even if fitted to the far back wall?
