Its probably a daft question but is there any benifit in squeezing more rolled mineral wool insulation in to a limited void than just filling the same with non compressed/fully expanded stuff? I'm guessing the loss of air/voids within the wool will reduce its's thermal resistance but any thoughts would be appreciated as wool would be easier to install than PIR
