My plumber fitted a new internal bit on my mira 88 today and the shower is STILL leaking through the shower head. He had previously replaced all of the seals using the service kit and that didn't work so I bought the brass valve type thing for about £70. He's now fitted this and it's still dripping like mad.....any ideas please???

That's the reason that I don't work on showers!
Poor quality and bad designs.
But Mira are one of the best.
You could ask their tech help what they suggest.
Whatever you do don't buy a Triton as they have no customer service at all.

I'm now led to believe that it's the valve that's had it, the trouble is Mira no longer make the valve for the 88, I wonder if anybody knows if there is one that is the same size?
