Had issue with shower bar (previous post) , however was cheaper to replace with new shower bar.
Now I have taken the Mira off I thought to inspect it hoping to find what the issue was.
I am at the stage as per image how do I get the cartridges out, I didnt want to force anything til I got some advice.
It looks like one I have to undo the nut the other I don't see anything I can loosen to get it off.

Both ends...
Undo the nuts you can see.
The thermo cartridge is held in by the retaining ring/nut and pulls out after it's removed.
The flow cartridge is like a tap cartridge and the brass nut is part of it. It will wind out in one piece.

Struggling to loosen the flow nut, but will keep trying.
I just noticed this, to me it looks like a broken part, its the outlet for the shower head, any thoughts.

Its the half moon shape, along the vertical edge not a straight line, not that I know what it should look like but looks like half maybe sheared off.

I'll just carry on checking the old as I have already fitted the new one so unless I take it back off I can't compare.
I'll try google for some schematics and see if I can find anything.

Thanks though for your replies.

Surely you can just remove the hose connection from the new one and take a look/photo up at the outlet?

You are correct, I was thinking to disconnect the complete bar and then have to reinstall.
I'll check that tomorrow.
Thanks for putting me right.
