Mira Discovery ( Hot water only )

I have recently had a Mira Discovery concealed shower fitted into a new Bathroom
It is Fed by a longish run of Hep piping
The Shower is on the ground floor and the Hot water cylinder is upstairs
Problem is that it takes 3 or 4 minutes for any Hot water to get to the shower head.
Then no matter what way you turn the temp control on the Mira you only get scalding hot water

Anyone any ideas

Would a pump help in getting water to the shower quicker

In that case you have either a blocked cold supply to the shower, or a faulty shower valve/cartridge. You can service the valve - kits are generally available.

Would a pump help in getting water to the shower quicker

It would if there were no faults and if it was a twin impeller pump and if you connected it in series with the supplies to the shower.
