Mira Element Shower

Hello.

Bit cheeky asking for help with first post here but...

We have a Mira Element mixer shower which only puts out cold water recently.

The hot water supply pipe is hot.

Checked filter and found a small piece of blue foam material but nothing else.

What else should I check?

Guessing that small piece of foam means something has broken up inside. What could it be?

Do you mean you took the shower off the wall and there was a piece of foam in the inline filter? You may need to take the thermo valve out and check the internal waterways are clear too.

No. Removed the filter and ran water through shower. A small chunk of rubbery foam came out. Irregular shape with torn edges.

Will have another look tomorrow. Thanks
