My shower has stopped working, lights on water trickles out but but no pump

doubtful of a direct replacement so wondering if another mira will just easily replace the existing one ?

fault diagnosis

Can be a few faults, You need a multi meter to check certain parts.
Potentiometer failure.
Pcb failure.
Motor brushes worn.

What yr is it ?

unsure of the year but I do have a manual with 2002 on the back so I am guessing before then

After 2002, surely. A manufacturer wouldn't post-date a manual.
