Hi - we moved home about four weeks ago but we find our Mira Event shower (approx 12 yrs old) is uncomfotablly hot on the lowest temperature setting.

Two questions, (1) how do I remove the front cover, I can't see any screws or obvious points of entry, and (2) what would the pro's recommend as the best make of electric power shower if the advice is to buy a new one?

TIA

check the filters first.

remove the centre of the control dials then you can remove the dials.

Thanks for that - I checked the filters and the cold supply was pretty well blocked with crud, but there was a lot of black carbon dust insdie the casing, I guess from the motor brushes wearing out, so given its age I decided to scrap it and install a new one!
Thanks for the advice

any shower with a motor in with leave the black soot off the carbon brushes. it doesn't mean its faulty.
