My Mira Power shower seems to be playing up. It seems like the pump is working alright and the fault seems to be with the electrics.
I've determined that the pump is a Mira Event Thermostatic ( old one) . This is the one : //www.diynot.com/forums/plumbing/old-mira-event-shower-parts.343218/ . so I do know that parts are available from here http://www.showerdoc.com/mira-event-thermostatic-post-1996-shower-spares
When I turn the knob, to power on the pump, it takes a bit of wiggling to get the pump started . There does seem to be some loose connection between the knob and the pump electrics. Do you reckon a swap of the knob set should fix the issue, or does the speed control assembly need replacement .
Any help would be appreciated.
