I have a Mira Event XS shower and the motor has started overheating. Can the motor be saved or do I need a replacement?

If it's overheating it suggests the pump that it drives has become worn and is seizing up. Depending on how old it is, spares may be available

I can get a spare pump. It has lots of black dust in the motor, is this normal?

Black dust is the brushes wearing down. They might need replacing too - common issue on these showers

So I don't need to worry aboutt he black dust? I have replaces the brushes and they are still good.
