Guys

We have the above shower (about 4 yrs old). A couple of times now whilst the wife has been in the shower, after a period of time, the pressure has dropped right off and the temperature gone stone cold. The shower also makes a horrible noise as though it is about to blow up. If you leave it for a while and then turn it on again it starts off the same way (horrible noise and no flow) then after a few seconds, splutters into life and the flow and temperature comes out fine again.

I couple of people have come up with differing opinions (airlock / prob with Hot Water) but I was wondering what, if any, suggestions you experts had.

it sounds like you have an air lock in your hot water

Thanks. Any ideas where this could be getting in. It seems to clear itself and then work fine for a few weeks. Can't see any obvious places air could be getting in.
