Mira excel thermostatic shower

Hi everyone ,bad news this morning.
After 6 years of fantastic service and performance our Mira excel shower has decided to malfunction by only providing hot water no matter at what temperature the control is set at .
The shower is running off a worchester combi boiler and as I say has given 6 years of faultless service been used at LEAST twice a day.
I have tried quickly rotating the temp control from min to max and that other age old diy remedy of hitting it a couple of times but it now only gives hot water .
Any advice and comments to help please .............Thank you

Thanks for the advice....its was indeed a faulty cartridge .I bought a brand new one off ebay for £98 and it was simplicity itself to fit and I still think Mira shower are fantastic
