Yes also a possibility, certainly cheaper £900 odd to change the tank.
Might have to be at this rate, still having no luck getting anybody to do it for me. A chap did come out today to have a look, spent the while time telling me about combi boilers and G3 pressurised hot water tanks. Also Seemed rather confused about what some of the pipes were for going to the tank..
You wouldn't have thought it would be that hard to get someone to come and change a tank over at a reasonable price. I've bought the tank now as well so literally just the labour of swapping it over
Sometimes, DIY is just so much less stressful.
