I have a Mira ppt3 shower pump which is 11 years old and been trouble free until today. It now hums but does not pump water so the shower is no longer a power shower. Could the impeller be stuck? It has twin impellers so if one is stuck would it also cause the other to stick? Could there be a different problem? Is an 11 year old pump worth repairing? I'm no good at plumbing but good with electrics etc. Ideally I would like to remove pump to examine etc and loop each inlet/outlet pipe so in the meantime I can still use the shower. What pipe fittings etc would I need? Any advice/help/ideas on anything mentioned in this post would be much appreciated.
