Hello,

Quick question please. I have currently Mira event XS (B85C) shower installed, It is gone faulty and I am looking to replace this shower. Please can someone suggest me the cheapest replacement for this shower? Mira showers are really expensive and I am looking for cheaper alternatives. Is there a Triton shower I can replace this with?

I have also attached the pictures for faulty showers.

Thanks!

That shower is only quoted in two outputs 7.5& 6.9kW @ 230V, very puny, suggest going at least for the equivalent to the T80Z here, 9.0kW at 230V, will cost a few bob more, you may be able to get budget price Tritons in the UK at 9kW or higher but seem to be more problematic than the "dearer" ones, the T80Z or its equivalent will give ~ 10 years without any problems.

The Mira event XS is a power shower, not an electric shower.

O.P. search "power showers" on e.g. the screwfix website.

The most cost-effective solution is probably a "like for like" replacement.

Triton make the Noval SR, don't know the price range but I do know someone whose Dublin company installs ~ 1000 showers/year and he now will not install any pumped Mira shower except explicitly requested by the customer due to problems, he has no affiliation to any of the manufacturers.
