Hi Good evening

A friend of mine has a Mira electric shower which we believe to be faulty , I am in the process of replacing the shower to another Mira (cant remember the model name ) the instruction booklet advises that a gland and a compression nut are included however they aren't and I noticed on the original shower there was no gland or compression nut , the only securing of the connection was a white plastic clamp that fastened onto the connection , is this how the Miras are connected ?

Cheers

It would seem they are both push fit , id not come across them before id always seem showers with the olive and compression gland.

So just to clarify the push fit connnections connect and then a clamp connects over the connection ? This is the set up on the 2 showers , no gland used or compression nut , the instructions do refer to a gland and olive that is why I have posted as I was a tad confused , cheers Bingo Bongo
