I have the above shower installed in the bathroom for around 15 months or so but it has hardly been used as we normally use the pumped gravity fed one in the ensuite. The situation now is that on the highest setting the water is only lukewarm, I understand that in winter it will not be as hot, but I was under the impression that 10.8kW should at lest be able to produce hot water, had the 10mm cable put in specially.
When my parents were here in the summer after them using it for a few weeks they said they suddenly had to start putting it on max to get the same temperature they had before so I am not sure if something has gone in it, is it possible the element is running way under full capacity?
Is it possible that poor fitting could produce these symptoms as overall the guy who fit it seemed to be rushing the whole job which was overrunning, i think it has a 2 year guarantee, do you think i have reason to try to go down that route?
any advice is much appreciated.
