Hello, would appreciate a bit of advice as I am complete novice. My Mira sports max shower is not pumping out any water, just stopped all of a sudden. The red low flow light is on. I took the shower head andlead of put still no water coming out. My wife has a shower in our bedroom and this works of the mains ans is working ok. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help. ps there was a burst water main in our area on Friday but this stopped any water into the house until Saturday am. Problem occured with the shower yesterday pm.

sounds like a blocked filter on the cold mains inlet to the shower
are these easy to clear? I am not sure i I should attempt to unblock it or get a plumber. Cheers HK
depends on your level of DIY skill and the model of shower. In general, if you turn off your cold mains stopcok, open the lowest cold tap and wait til water stops. Now using adjustable spanner or grips, open the compression fitting into the shower, remove and clean the filter then reassemble.

Whenever you are using compression fittings use the motto - equal and opposite force -so that you do not stress the surrounding tubes and fittings.
