Evening all.

To preface - I’m a complete DIY Luddite. I turned on my power shower after a couple of months of non use. There was a huge squeal before it started to work properly. Since then it’s been leaking constantly from the unit. Pictures attached. It seems to be leaking from the solenoid unit - but I have no idea.

1) how do I stop it leaking in the meantime? I can’t find any isolation points nearby at all. Can it be done from inside the unit?

2) what’s wrong with the unit and how do I fix it? The answer can definitely be “call a plumber”.

Can't tell from pics where it's leaking from ,and I don't think you can isolate the water within the shower.
Have you traced the hot and cold pipes that supply the shower to look for isolation valves ?
The cold would normally be a dedicated pipe from the cold water storage cistern in the loft ,and there may be an isolation valve there,or you could bung the cisterns outlet.
Need more pics ,of the hot water pipe runs to the shower to enable more advice on that point.
