Hi everyone!

Hoping you can advise. We had all new radiators fitted about a year ago and they all have trvs except one. It has a pin but no head. I asked the plumber at the time and he said he fitted one but it must have got lost, I forgot about it until now. The radiator works absolutely fine, coming on and off with the rest and heating well. I was wondering if I can put on something like this:

https://www.screwfix.com/p/drayton-trv4-sensing-head/7109r

I have attached an image of the radiator in question and also an image of the type of trv that is on every other radiator (doesn’t seem to have a brand on it).

thank you so much everyone, really appreciate your help!

1. The photograph of the complete valve - it looks like a "knock off" Drayton TRV4.
2. If it is a copy of the TRV4, it is likely to have the same thread to secure the head. If so, the one you have listed would be fine, but not if its a different thread.

That is interesting. If that is a "Chinese copy" of a Drayton TRV4 then firstly I have never seen one myself.

Secondly. as they are about the best and most expensive make of TRV then I would have thought they would have had enough resources to try to take legal action to prevent the selling of such obvious copies!

Thank you so much for your replies! I have fitted the Drayton one. Just going to wait until the rads come on to make sure all is working well
