Hi,

I need to do a mist coat, I have Dulux Matt which says add 10% water on the tin.

Reading other threads people are mentioning 25-50%, what should I be using. I will be using Dulux endurance matt for the top coats if that makes a difference.

I have a big 10L tin of B&Q Dulux paint that I use for mist coat. Tend to go about 50% paint, to 50% water (not taking into account any water content in the paint).

This has worked fine around our house

LOL, thanks for your reply I just sat down at the PC having cleaned after doing the mist coat. I mixed about 20-25% water and it appears to have worked quite well.
