Hi Guys,

am going to be tiling the bathroom with fired earth's crackle glazed retro metro range of tiles - see here -

http://www.firedearthshop.com/epage...s/Kilns_of_the_World/Retro_Metro&PageSize=200

and on a number of surface where two walls meet on an outside edge and where the windows are recessed i would prefer to have a mitre on the two edges of tile instead of the strips you can buy.

my concern is how well these tiles will fare with cutting - and what the best method would be of producing the mitre on them.

advice would be mucha ppreciated as I'm new to this!!

thanks

You'll have to use a diamond blade in a wetsaw. Personally, I think they'll chip luke f*ck. Even if (by the grace of God) you made a decent job of it, a mitred edge is sharp and easily damaged. My advice is, forget it.
