Mixer for single tap

Thanks for the reply buddy.
In the interest of using up stuff thats collecting dust, and not wanting to spend 40 quid, would the above schematic work?

If not, what would be the cheapest mixing valve? Doesn't need to be pretty, its going to be tucked away under the sink cabinet.

Cheers again

Your diagram is wrong.

From memory they include a none return valve, hot in one side, cold in the other, the third port in the middle is the outlet, to your single tap and you just pre-set the output temperature you desire at the tap. I added one to the downstairs toilet washbasin identical to Elkato's photo, which was often used by youngsters unsupervised, because we like our hot water hot. It cost around £15 on ebay. I removed the surplus tap and fitted a blank in its place.

Mine works fine on gravity fed HW, mains CW.
