I'm (hopefully) coming to the final stages of replacing my bathroom.
With a lot of help from various threads on here I've managed to replace my toilet and sink, and I've chopped the hot and cold shower feeds from the tank in the attic and bunged isolation valves on.
Now I've got these two pipes dangling down from the ceiling and all the pipework ready cut and bent to join everything up - just one problem....
How do I make a good seal between my mixer valve (with female screw threads, and the feed pipes? I've got male connectors, but there's no 'O' Ring or compresion fitting.
Do I use Jointing compound??? Or is that a recipe for a puddle in my lounge??
Thanks.
