Hello
my plumbing is in good condition
resonable combi boiler
pressure reducing valve to bathroom to put mains pressure down to 3bar
shower fairly new
anyway shower has bursts of cold
we put up with it because you can sense when it's about to happen
so just move away and within 10 second or so it has stabilised again
My two theories are either heavy demand on cold in the street somehow affects mains flow
OR the boiler needs to have a 'pause for breath' and whereas when running a bath a slight easing off of direct heating wouldnt be noticed , it is obviously more noticeable when fighting against cold supply in mixer
NOT a big issue but if the solution is simple please let me know
many thanks
