mixer shower problems

hmm.... strange one, assuming its a combi then a bath mixer and shower tap should work no probs,
if its not a combi the only thing i can assume is that it is not balanced hot and cold supplies - i dont know why this would affect the bath water being colder that the shower attachment but its all ive got. i could be compleatly wrong but hey.

Is it a thermostatic mixer the thermostat could be on the way out this often happens when they go it seems strange tho that the showers still ok!
If he's got a combi:
the bath tap delivers water at a faster flow than the shower does
A combi can deliver 2 litres per minute at 60 degrees or 4 litres per minute at 40 degrees (illustrative figures).
the bath tap is drawing more water per min so it will not be as hot.
