I've currently got a combi boiler (Worcester 28i) supplying hot water to the bathroom, with cold water supplied by a tank (yes I know!). I'm planning to get the cold supply switched over to mains (the pipes run side-by-side) and would like to install a proper mixer shower at the same time.
At the moment the cheap bath/shower combo runs hot and cold (I think due to the cold flow being so poor that the hot flow is therefore below the minimum needed to start-up the boiler).
I'm only planning to stay in my flat for 2 more years, so want a cheap option that'll last for a minimum of 2 years - something under £200 and ideally under £150.
Any suggestions?
