Hi folks, I'm buying a new mixer shower and thought Mira was the best on the market but have just read that Grohe is the best and Crossover running a close second, can anyone confirm this please, thanks for your help.

I like Crosswater.
Never heard of crossover valves - only as a problem 'concerning' valves! ;)

Crosswater are good. Hansgrohe are better than Grohe. Mira showers are good but their customer service is appalling. Aqualisa are also very good and have very good customer service too

Mira are a good midrange all round IMO but when getting into higher quality I be looking at Hansgrohe & Aqualisa with high end Bristan digital in there too along with Crosswater for build quality. Horses for courses though as there are a few good quality manufacturers, Grohe would be in that list too.
