Hi All,
Just purchased a nice new Mixer Tap for the kitchen, however I've just noticed it says "this mixer must be supplied from a storage cistern".
Since we have combi-boiler and no header tank (I think), I'm assuming we have a direct system and this tap cannot be connected due to risk of contamination from the odd-chance that the pull out head is submerged in water and the water pressure drops...
However could I get around this by fitting "non-return valves" or "double check valves" or will I have to take the tap back (and the missus spends another 4 weeks shopping for one she likes)?
Cheers,
Lance
