Mixing nickel & brass fittings

Hello.

I have recently purchased a water filter which I would like to fit to my system. My plumbing fittings and the 3/4" thread on the filter are brass. I need to connect the female fitting on the filter to a female fitting on my plumbing system, so have purchased a nickel adapter. Am I right in assuming that there will be no adverse corrosive reaction between the nickel and the brass? I hope so!

Nae probs. Lots of fittings are Ni plated.

Thanks, ChrisR. I will venture outside and fit the unit as soon as the temperature drops later today - it's a ridiculous 39deg.C now!
