Yes, all right! I can't sleep! Or count... this makes more than three useless threads posted by me recently..
Just clearing out my files and came across the bill for my very first mobile phone!!
Bought on 15 Jan 1998, under a pay-monthly scheme (costing 17.50 monthly with 60m free calls) on One2One, the Ericsson PH 388 (bear in mind this was 1998, folks and the phone was extremely basic) cost 42.54, an evenings and weekends free calls option 29.79, leather case 17.01, 13v power cord 17.01, portable hands-free 29.78 12m insurance 17.00 and something I can't even remember called TFG 12.77.
Anyway, the whole lot came to 191.96....
Compare that to a pay monthly deal now with a Sony Ericsson on T Mobile with the same monthly spend.
And this was only 7/8 years ago!!
