I am supplying a small mobile unit with underground SWA Cable, when finished it will be there for years. I will fuse at the source end but where the cable enters the mobile I will then split into 2 Consumer units one for lighting and sockets and one for heating. The reason for this is the heating is controled via a timeswitch and contactor. Whats the correct way to Isolate at this end. do I need to fit a suitably rated fused Isolator or just a double pole breaker, to provide means of Isolation.

Thanks

I'd say a DP isolator will be adequate as long as the cable is adequately protected between the isolator and the CUs by your supply fuse.
