Modena 80e boiler problem cause shower to go cold?

Hi, Im after advice. ive got a Ferroli modena 80e combi boiler and a Mira 55 thermostatic shower. The problem is that come winter & the mains water is colder I have to turn the shower temp dial right over to hot. But lately the shower starts hot but then goes cold, the boiler also stops heating up. The hot water pressure appears low compared to the cold. The boiler pressure is good. Any idea what the problem could be? Also, is it possible to fit a pump to boost the hot water pressure to the shower? Really appreciate any advice.
