Joe,

I am willing to take your point on board, but I have tried various googling variations and have been unable to find a breakdown of Operation Ore 'nabbees' by occupation. Do you have a link we could look at ?

If you look through this list you will get an idea of the professions that are up to no good. It's the same old crowd.

that list is very limited and its a very sweeping statement to make. I worked on the operation carrying out a lot of the searches, and whilst some were from those professions, many were from all sorts of professions and walks of life, and there were quite a few wives or women that were involved in it.

Thanks,

A couple of points that may or may not be valid:

1) Whilst a fair proportion of offenders appear to be from the medical profession (or teaching), that is not the same as a fair proportion of the medical profession being offenders. I personally have no worries about my GP examining my sons.

2) Did they gravitate towards the medical profession because of their interest in paedophilia, or did their experiences in medicine drive them to seek out these images

3) Do there appear to be more of those professions, just because they are the more newsworthy.

4) It could also benoted that a fair few gravitate towards careers in IT.

As an aside, I have been working at my factory in the US this week (in fact, I am typing this on a Wi-Fi connection at Dulles airport) and there was a picture up on the notice board giving the address of a convicted offender, so I popped round to have a look. No paint bombs, torchlight and pitchfork mobs, broken windows or the like - very different to what would happen here.

I'm not saying that they are ALL corrupt - just that the chances of a male GP being up to no good is much higher than a woman GP. Why take the risk?

One thing you must have noticed is that they are ALL men. Every one listed is a man. Doesn't that tell you something about male sexuality? It certainly should.

But the real proof that I speak the truth is that doctors have been ordered by the BMA to offer ' A chaperone' to young and female patients! Good heavens, even the profession know that male GPs aren't safe to be let out with the public.

Let's see a list then.

I note that Police Officers were well represented too??

Joe, I have only scanned through this post, so may have missed some relevant points, if so please forgive me. But to say that women don't feature in lists of sex offenders is most incorrect. Maybe there are none on the list in question( I don't know, I haven't looked.) But we only have to look back through history, both distant and recent, to see that some women can be very guilty of peadophilia.

Show me a link to a female GP struck off for sex crimes. just one will do.

The medical profession accept that male GPs can't be trusted - hence the chaperone system. What more proof do you need?

Id be more worried about the amount of foreign doctors struck off...that certainly wont publish a list of them.

Not just for anything dodgy...but many are just not competent...I once saw a swiss one, a skin specialist who had five attempts at pronouncing 'psoriasis'...wrong every time...now if he cant pronounce it...id love to know how he was ever judged competent in the first place.

Nurses have mentioned to me about muslim doctors who still judge women as second class citizens..

Its a shame...becasue mant of the imported docs are top class people who come here for a reasonable wage.

A ridiculous wage (£5000 per week) and many cannot even speak English.

If the people of Latvia train a doctor - then that is where he should practice.

We train huge numbers of doctors who clear off to America and Canada - then we poach doctors from everywhere else in the World.

Make them sign contracts to work in the country of their training for 10 years - or choose someone that will.

well i know we searched the house of a very eminent female doctor in haywards heath, who was responsible for downloading the stuff, alongside her husband. Dont know what happened to her though.
As for police officers, yes there were some caught and good job to. Same as there was programmers, builders, bankers, road sweepers etc etc etc.

still you believe what you want to believe. You obviously know all about it as you always do[/quote]

Yep...

Only difference being that when a cozzer does it it high profile...theres no reason why they 'shouldnt' be peados either...

Ok...buying bent stuff..speeding..drink driving..fruad..yeh you can say they should know better..

But just because they up hold the law doesnt mean they will be immune to having the same sick preferences as other nonce case's

They wont be thinking 'oh im a policeman I must not look at that'...its either in them or it isnt.

Peados are not all the dirty raincoat brigade.

What sickens me it when people like doctors judges etc are treated differently by the courts..a doctor down here virtually got off scot free with heaps of child filth on his comp...why?...because it was put down to the 'stress's of work'...another beast was in court the same week and got a stretch for having a few dozen pix on he's comp...im NOT defending him...they BOTH should have got the same.
