Not true - moderators are invaluable because the forum members can't control themselves adequately.

Please note - the topic from which this was split was aimed at one moderator, not all moderators, and your broader aspersions were not welcome on that other topic - this topic has been created for you to have a general whinge about moderators, if you so wish.
