My plumber roughed in the Moen 275, everything looks good just have 2 questions:
-(see picture) My plumber roughed everything in with CPVC, for each of the attachements (like body sprayers, shower head, hand held) he turned a 90 degree that has a threaded end to it. He then used iron pipe (gas line) nipple with a cap on it. The cap can later be removed that the attachement installed once tile is complete. Is this the right way to do it? Or should he use all CPVC parts? I had problems with a couple of them leaking but now that we put teflon tape instead of the liquid teflon it seems to be ok.
-On the volume valve, there are 3 of them. When you take of those plastic protective caps there is alittle bit of water that has collected on the front of each of these valves...is that normal? It is not alot, but just seems weird. I am hoping that I don't have defective valves. The water gathers up front by the nipple that turns when you turn the water on.
Thanks!
