ford mondeo gear change on my M reg is driving me nuts. one garage said i needed a new clutch. another garage said I needed the linkage setting up. How can I tell which problem it is. 1st gear and reverse are very hard to find. As the car becomes warmer its nigh on impossible. The gears dont slip nor do they crunch into gear. At times the gears slide in perfectly. When the engine is off the gears slip in without any problem. Any advice would be welcome.
