hi ive got a 1994 mondeo the alarm and central locking does not work ,ive checked all fuses ,replaced the door ajar switch onm drivers door,all doors beep when checked via the alarm bonnet switch but still no joy can anyone help cheers

non working central locking and alarm on early mondeos can usually (not always) be traced to a corroded/dry solder joint in the wiring harness in the drivers foorwell, under the carpet. Orange wire if I mind right, but its been a few years....

basically, 3 or 4 wires come together to a solder joint wrapped in insulating tape. loom runs across footwell, under carpet. gets damp easy. just find joint and remake.
