Mono taps

I am just starting to build my ensuite bathroom.
I am unable to supply with hot water from the tank so I am using a small 3 Kw wall heater. My question is will the mono tap on the wash basin work if only supplied with cold water?

Yes it will but you'll have to seal off the hot inlet or you'll be washing you hands and feet at the same time!
