Monobloc tap thread???!!!

Hello

Im reaplacing the flexi connector on my monobloc mixer tap and the problem ive got is, a M10 looks right but doesnt thread and a M12 is too big. ive been to loads of plumbers merchants, no one has any idea!?

Is there BSP threaded tails or something?

I've had this a couple of times with taps bought from screwfix - it turned out that the thread inside the tap was the wrong size.
