I recall years ago that they brought out some policy that would have effectively put a good few car companies in the UK out of bussiness (?)

But as you do not live in the EU, it is of course irrelevant.
 
But we left the EU and we are now all millionaires and can afford new cars every year - so who cares?

it doesn't ban the repair or restoration, it bans the disposal of the old parts making the repair probably impossible.

Which begs the question of how do you get rid of the car then
 
EU have been poking there noses into the classic car scene for years

Had some of there ballcocks gone un checked
Dozens of car manus would have been shut down

Some of there regs on working or modifying your own car are that stringent it’s virtually impossible

Hence why there is or was a healthy market in EU citizens coming to the UK to purchase specialist cars
