"A computer hack in the tax haven of Bermuda could lead to some of the world's richest people's financial details being exposed, according to the Daily Telegraph. Firm Appleby said it was in the process of warning its clients who may have been affected. The Telegraph claims the disclosure could threaten the status of British Overseas Territories if questionable financial activities are exposed."

Does being rich make people "sponging parasites"?

Does not being rich make people bitter and twisted?

Do people making posts about the rich just want a hug?

Discuss.

I think the other headline about that student forcing Cambridge to drop white authors is a much more worthy topic.

They can count on poorly informed guys like yourself to defend them, and they don't even have to pay you.

You seem to be employing the current Corbynista strategy of shouting down anyone with a contrary point of view. It doesn't do much for your credibility you know.

I am a corbynista now lol. Your defence of the tax havens for the rich with classic whataboutery proves the point that you are a case of manufactured consent.

Shock news:

There are people and companies who pay their taxes

And there are people and companies who don't.

There are people willing to tolerate and defend tax dodgers

And there are people who aren't.

Woody has chosen to take up the position of tolerance and support of rich dodgers.

And Bernard likes to throw in false and meaningless smears.

And if the law has been constructed in a way that permits the rich to whisk away their wealth and hide it without paying tax, the law should be tilted further towards fairness.

When even a prime minister has benefitted from a secret offshore trust in a tax haven, the law has become too generous.

Let's suppose you are a British citizen, with a home in Britain, and a business in Britain selling to British people in Britain. Should you pay British tax on your profits and income?

 yep Malta makes a nice earner out of money laundering & floggin maltese pass ports 650,000 Euros ;)

And fiddeling EU funds ;) like er hmm Spain may be ????????
