I need to repair the "mortar" around my windows on the outside, between the sandstone walls and the wooden window frames as some of it has fallen off from the top edge. I think fixing it will be fine but i don't know what product to buy, what do i look for and will it be available in a DIY superstore or is it a specialist supplier? The house is about 1910 with wooden sash windows.

Thanks!

Older windows were sealed/pointed with a mixture of lime mortar and tallow, the modern equivalent is polysulphide which comes in a lot of colours, sugest you repair with this...pinenot :)
