mortar - dry time

I am using mortar to set blocks on to MOT Type 1. I was wondering how long I need to leave this before I start building a timber floor over this. The 5x2 floor joists will be resting across these blocks and I don't want to disturb their level, etc. by going too soon.

Next day for low impact stuff. Give it a week for high impact activity.

The 5x2 joists will be heavy but I will only be resting them on the blocks. I won’t be banging them on to the blocks or dropping them on to them. I assume that’s what you mean by high impact?

Correct. Just avoid percussion stuff.
