how many bags of wickes sand and cement wil i need to lay approx 100 bricks.the wall is a bit shabby and needs tarting up so i can put some fencing across to make a sceen.im no brickie but feel a little bit confident in doing it but havnt done it for quite a while.any tips of the trade wud b welcome from anyone thankyou.hope it brightens up 2moz
The only good thing about euro rules is the weight of bags, they are all 25kg now, so one bag of dust is 25kg and a bag of sand is the same, great for mixes, one bag of dust + 5 bags of sand = 5:1 mix, easy as that.
If your not that fast a good idea is to put some lime in to slow down the setting time, mix ratio would be 10:2:1 sand, cement, lime.
