Would like some advice on mosaic tiles in the shower. I know from previous posts that very small mosaic tiles and showers are probably not the best idea due to the amount of grout which leave little protection for the wall and basically they become dirty easily. However my customer wants it tiled with the mosaic, I've proposed we use the Dunlop shower waterproofing kit, they have also suggested using Rainracer
http://www.rainracer.com/
It looks like a protective film, would like to know if anyone has used this before or is there an alternative to protecting the tiles?

Thanks

I'd go with the BAL kit as the Dunlop only has enough material to tank the bottom 1.0m of the average size shower.

Use a decent grout like BAl superflex which is a better spec and designed for power showers or the MApei Ultracolour Plus which has a water repellant in it as well as anti bacterial properties.

Not used the sealer.
