Hi All,

I am having my bathroom done in a couple of weeks and im looking at tiles designs.

I like it to be quite plain so am going to go for bumpy white tiles and then a pearly mosaic accent behind the shower riser.

I was just wondering the bumpy tiles are 4mm thick and the mosaic's are 7mm thick. I dont really want the mosaic's sticking out further than the white tiles - would the tiler just use more adhesive behind the thinner tiles to level them all up?

the thinner mosaics dont look as nice....

yes i can ask the tiler but i wont see him until next week and wanted to try and order tiles in advance (or have at least chosen them)

thanks in advance

4mm on a bumpy white sounds very thin? what size are they and how much are you paying (if you dont mind the question!)

most decent bumpy whites at or above 200x200mm are usually 6/7mm.
