motorised valve

motorised valve
this i believe controls hot water or water and central heating.
If i remove the motor, how do i reconnect it so that i know the motor engages the valve correctly?

HArd to get wrong. Move the lever on the valve and it should turn the motor.

what i mean then is is there a correct position in which to engage it after you have removed it/ seperated it.
